Superherohype ArticleI think it was 2 years ago when Mark Millar pitched to write the new Superman movie. Which eventually didn't happen when Warner chose Brian Singer to helm Superman Returns. I liked Superman Returns... that is because we saw it in 3D. But after getting the DVD, I knew I just liked it, and not bowled over. It felt like Warner and Singer were afraid that Superman has been forgotten that they decided to have sequences that mirror sequences in Superman 1 and 2.
Anyway, Singer's a good director, I mean he's a better superhero movie director than Bret Rattner. He did great on both X-men 1 and 2 (although I didn't really appreciate the ending in X-2). As far as him directing a Superman Sequel, sure why not?... getting a new director? Sure why not? As for a new writer, I'm definitely voting for Mark Millar
I'm a big fan of Millar, and I have only read a few of his books, but boy can he write. One thing that strikes me with his writing is the pacing; which is almost similar to watching a movie. And that has been particularly enhanced when he teamed up with Brian Hitch. He also can lay down a fictional premise and have you think "Why not?" instead of having you the reader just sensing "What if?". Maybe that's just me, but I love the way he lays down stories.
And his "Wanted" being drastically changed for the movie version (and him saying yes) might just be a move to get hollywood to notice him (and Warner). Haven't watched the movie yet, but heard it was stunt crazy.
So hopefully Millar gets to write it, and not be hindered by (some have said) company policy/politics of not hiring from rival Comics houses
So who is the director do you think Mark Millar is referring to(Or who do you want to direct the revamp)? I'm just going to google every name you post hehe. I barely know action directors hehe

at kung matuloy man ang Superman "Returns" Sequel , e di dapat maging consistent pa rin yung story telling.

Yan ata title nila, hahaaha! Paborito ko yung Ultimates ni Millar. Ang ganda ng pagkakakwento. Tapos parang natural yung dialogue ng mga tao.

Commissions from the 31st Century!
Zack Snyder or Michael Bay would be good for Good Ol' Supe. but i guess that would be a farcry...
and then again i might be wrong everything's possbile in Hollywood afterall. hehe.

sacrifice what you are for what you could become
Michael Bay is an eye candy director hehe, pero pagdating sa Character direction di ko sya gusto. May mga scenes na parang off sa mood or sa hininihingi ng movie
