My first digital cover :D, built up on the editor's layout
I tried to emulate the color palette used in WW2 model kits, which to me gives the feeling of the 40s.
Atlantis here is not the same as what was originally envisioned by Marvel (since this is the What If universe)... well it WAS. Anyway you'll find out after you read it. (I've read Greg Pak's script, and it's great!)

The Battelship was the most frustrating part of this image, I drew it twice because painter RUINED the original Photoshop file (each object was painted separately... PC problem). The water was a lot better in the first painting

Although there's one thing that bothers me about this piece and I wish I had planned it better.

I hope you like it :D

WHAT IF: SUBMARINER
Written by GREG PAK
Penciled by DAVID LOPEZ
Cover by CARLO PAGULAYAN

The history books tell us that young Prince Namor, the proud son of an Atlantean princess, joined the Allied fight against the Nazis in order to protect his undersea people. But what if Namor grew up on land with his human father, filled with hatred for the Atlanteans who killed his mother? For whom will he fight when World War II sweeps the planet and Atlantis calls for help? And in what terrifying ways might the course of history be changed forever?

EXCELLENT work! :worship: you are amazing. The model Paint scheme was a great idea, it really did help give it that WWII look. I love human torch in the background.

Fantastic! Congratulations for advancing Pinoy artistry through the digital age!

May I ask how big the actual painting is (pixels)? I'm trying to figure out what to upgrade my outdated PC to... it's crawling when I do layers in very large files in Painter.

Awesome job :) I've always wondered how those tiny wings on Namor's feet support him in the air, hehe.

Wow! I think of Daniel Wu, the hottest male actor/model in Hong Kong the moment I see this Namour! Namour is super handsome and JAMES BOND under your hands!
