A digital painted version of this image [link] done a week after the pencils were drawn...
I had to wait for the cover version [link] to appear before actually showing this digi version.

This was never used since by the time it was finished an inked version was already done and was decided to be printed as cover for Marvel Knights Four

I still have some difficult to digital paint without leting the black outline appearing; so yes great wotk here !

the pencils were actually on a separate layer... so the whole image was traced over the pencils.
I could not do the style your referreing to because of the hatches in the drawing, but moreso because I wanted it to look this way :D

yes that' s what I thought, but it the end, you made the outlines disapear from the result, so the paiting as to be very clear!
I like this kind of result, but I'll never have the patience to to do such a thing!
