I'm not the absolute biggest fan of X-Men (even though I think it's great, it's not my absolute favorite), but this is a wonderful drawing of Cyclops. No matter what his outfit is, a guy that can shoot laser beams out of his eyes still kicks ass.

the whole image started off as a gray tonal art in Painter... and then I started colorizing it in Photoshop... . Inspired by Adi Granov's methods (can't find the !ink, sorry)
the gray layer was duplicated and changed mode to multiply... and then from that I started colorizing, using either PS' colorize or adjusting the the channels in levels.
actually that's my method haha
the Adi tutorial involves a character named Mekanika (or Mechanika)... not the tutorial found o his site. I know i have it here somewhere.
