...or in english, the Blacksmith (it still sounds cool in English )

Another character from Philippine Komiks, Flavio is a blacksmith who forged a dagger from a meteorite that crashed in their town. He would later find out the mystical powers that meteor had and the power of the dagger he had now shaped, as it would magically grow into a sword (Nope, not ala Thundercats). And with that sword he would rid their land of the evil that is Lizardo.

Panday was created by Carlo J. Caparas and Steve Gan, and the epic would spawn 4 movies to be played by the late actor Fernando Poe Jr. (If America had Chris Reeves for Superman, We had Poe for Panday... no substitutes for me... )

I had only seen the movies and never read the books (but saw a few strips, only later), but this is my favorite character in local comics (only to be ruined by bad TV and recent movie incarnations). mainly beacuse I like the movies. If I were to draw a book in local comics, this would be it.
